Between Earth and Sky
Concrete and Light
Le Corbusier liked to say that he constructed buildings from concrete and light.
For Le Corbusier light was a material.
The architect was a handed a gift when he was asked to build a Dominican priory and research centre at Éveux near Lyon. Constructed between 1953 and 1960. It was to be his last major building in France. A tour de force of concrete and light.
